What I love most about kinesiology is that instead of assuming what’s going on, we ask the body directly.
Your system shows us where it feels stretched, overloaded, or unable to access its own resources fully. Kinesiology simply creates the conditions for your body’s inherent wisdom to come forward. This approach draws from Chinese meridian theory, subtle energy systems, physiology and the nervous system—not to diagnose or “fix,” but to understand how stress and experience may be influencing your well-being.
At its heart, kinesiology helps to reduce the load your system is under so you have more space for ease, healing and connection in your everyday life.

my Approach
I don’t see wellness as something to ‘fix’ or force, but as a process of de-conditioning, reconnecting and supporting the body’s own wisdom—in a way that respects culture, context and individuality. My approach embodies these foundations:
deeply personal
The journeys of healing and self-discovery are not one size fits all. I consider stress on physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels. My approach is trauma-informed and I take into account systemic injustice, inequality, societal conditioning and cultural norms.
congruence is key
Connection to yourself allows us to be deeply genuine, authentic, honest with ourselves and others, and thereby congruent. I hold the belief that the more congruent we are in our daily living, the less stress we experience. This gives us greater capacity to find balance and ease again no matter what life brings.
symptom = portal
I believe that you are perfect exactly as you are and the natural intelligence of your body. I view symptoms and challenges with curiosity and as opportunities to gain awareness, not as something inherently wrong or to be fixed. I see true healing as acceptance for what is in any given moment.

in-person Kinesiology

Using muscle response testing, I work with your body’s natural responses to identify stressors and imbalances that may be impacting your well-being. Sessions may include techniques such as coaching, gentle acupressure, sound healing, light therapy and affirmation work. My role is to support you in having greater capacity to find balance and ease—physically, emotionally and energetically. The exact address will be shared after booking, along with intake and consent forms.
online Kinesiology

Online sessions are ideal if you don’t live near Eindhoven, travel frequently, or prefer to work remotely. They’re just as effective as in-person sessions. However, these sessions are best suited for people who feel comfortable communicating in English and are open to self-reflection and inner work. Because distance sessions work on an energetic and subconscious level, they work best when there is openness, presence, and a willingness to explore what may be happening beneath the surface.

I’ve noticed the biggest shifts with clients who commit to a series of sessions, so if you are keen on living with less anxiety and more authenticity, creativity, and purpose this 6-month journey might be for you. Ongoing support paves the way for us to have nurture a deeper connection to ourselves, navigate change, and make aligned choices. We’ll work together for 6 months with a series of 7 kinesiology sessions intentionally spaced to allow what shifts in session to settle into daily life.
everyone experiences kinesiology differently. some notice immediate shifts in awareness or ease, while for others the changes feel more subtle or unfold over time. many people do leave feeling lighter, more awareness of themselves, and a clearer sense of their body and what it’s been holding. your system integrates the work in its own timing.

Kinesiology uses gentle muscle response testing (also known as muscle monitoring) to understand where your system is carrying stress— physically, mentally, emotionally or energetically. It’s a stress management system that helps to identify patterns beneath what you’re experiencing, and sessions may include acupressure, talk therapy, sound or light therapy, affirmation work or emotional stress release techniques.

During an in-person session you’ll lie comfortably on a massage table while we use gentle muscle response testing to understand what your body is holding and what it needs.
For online sessions, you’ll be in a safe, and private space. We’ll connect by Zoom and usually clients are seated in a comfortable chair.
Sessions take place in English. I speak A2 Dutch and understand more than I speak, so you’re welcome to express yourself in Dutch if that feels easier. I’ll always meet you where you are.
Everyone responds differently. Some people notice immediate shifts, others feel changes unfold in the days after. There’s no right or wrong way to respond. -
Kinesiology doesn’t diagnose or treat medical conditions, but many people find it supportive for physical symptoms that may be influenced by stress—such as tension, pain, sleep issues or digestive discomfort. By reducing stress patterns and helping the system find more ease, your body often has more space and capacity to do what it naturally knows how to do.

It depends on what you’re working with and how your system responds. Some people feel supported after a single session, while most others benefit from more regular work, especially when navigating something acute, chronic or emotionally heavy.
For deeper or longer-standing patterns, weekly or bi-weekly sessions for a period of time can help create momentum and stability. Many people then shift to monthly sessions for ongoing support or maintenance.
You’re always welcome to come as needed, whether that’s once, regularly for a period, or monthly.

Kinesiology sessions are currently not reimbursable by Dutch health insurance.

Yes. In addition to in-person sessions in Eindhoven, I also offer kinesiology sessions online via Zoom.

Wear comfortable clothing you can move in. You’ll stay fully clothed during the session, so anything that allows you to lie comfortably on the table is perfect.

Yes. I work with children ages 5 and up in person. Sessions are gentle, shorter, and adapted to their pace. A parent or guardian must be present for all sessions with minors.
For babies or children too young to participate directly, I’m able to work through a parent or guardian as a surrogate, which is a safe and common approach in kinesiology.

Yes. After booking, you’ll receive an intake form and consent form (for adults or children). These help me understand what you’re experiencing. For children, a parent or guardian must complete and sign the forms.
Everything shared in your session and intake is confidential. I do not share your information with anyone unless required by law or with your explicit written consent.

a little about me
Hello. i’m lia.
I had chronic pain and anxiety coming off the heels of my dance career and jumping into starting my own business. After a painful breakup, burnout and breakdown, I came across kinesiology, and it changed my life. After several sessions, I began to feel lighter, more free, and my symptoms started to resolve themselves.
Kinesiology gave me a deeper understanding of what it means to be truly be well in the anxious world of today, and the impact that well-being can have on our health and the world around us. I have my Certificate IV in Neuroenergetic Kinesiology from the NK Institute (Australia) and am registered with CAT (Collectif Alternatieve Therapeuten) in The Netherlands.
